James, Part 2
Jan 11, 2026 • Alan Potter
Alan continues our study in James with a focus on James 1:19-27. In this portion of scripture, James encourages us to be "quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger" and to put away all wickedness. He urges us to receive the Word of God with meekness and to be doers of the Word, not just hearers. James reminds us that pure and undefiled religion before God is caring for widows and orphans and keeping ourselves unstained from the world.
