Colossians, Part 1

Alan begins our Colossians series with a focus on Colossians 1:1-14. In this portion of scripture, Paul writes of his prayers and thanksgiving for the body of believers in Colosse. He speaks of the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, how it is bearing fruit everywhere. He asks for continued spiritual wisdom and revelation to be poured out so that believers will honor and please the Lord and know Him more and more. Lastly, he prays for God's power to strengthen His people, filling them with patience, endurance, and joy. Paul reminds us we have been rescued, forgiven, and set free by Jesus.
